Importing Photos from iPad
To import photos from your iPad to the Windows Photos app, first, connect your iPad to your PC with a USB cable and unlock the iPad, then tap "Trust" if prompted. Open the Photos app on your PC, click "Import" in the top right, select your iPad from the list of devices, and choose the photos you want to import. Follow the instructions to select the destination folder on your PC and complete the import process.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Connect your iPad: Plug your iPad into your Windows PC using a compatible USB cable.
- Unlock and Trust: Unlock your iPad, and if prompted, tap Trust or Allow on your device to authorize the connection.
- Open the Photos app: On your PC, click the Start button and type "Photos" to open the app.
- Start the import: In the Photos app, click Import in the top right corner of the window.
- Select your iPad: Choose your connected iPad from the list of connected devices.
- Select items to import: All the photos and videos on your iPad will be shown. Select the specific items you want to import.
- Confirm and import: Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your selections and choose where to save the imported photos on your PC. Click Import to finish.
Google drive method
Alternatively you can log into google drive on the iPad and use google drive to import photos to your cdc google account.
Airdrop:
1. Turn on AirDrop on Both Devices
Make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on both the iPad and the receiving Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac).
2. Open the Photos App
3. Tap the Share Button
4. Choose the AirDrop Recipient
After tapping Share, you'll see nearby AirDrop devices under the “Tap to share with AirDrop” section.
Tap the person or device name you want to send the photo to.
5. Wait for the Transfer
The recipient will get a pop-up to Accept or Decline.
Once accepted, the photo will transfer and open in their Photos app (iOS/iPadOS) or Downloads folder (on Mac).
✅ Tips:
If you don’t see the other device, ensure it's unlocked, AirDrop is enabled, and it’s close by (within ~30 feet).
AirDrop only works between Apple devices.
